What is the JCI WC26?
The JCI World Congress is the flagship annual event of Junior Chamber International (JCI), bringing together young leaders, young entrepreneurs and active citizens aged 18 to 40 from more than 120 countries and territories for five days of governance, leadership training, competition, cultural exchange and celebration.
The JCI WC26 is hosted in Clark, Pampanga, Philippines, organised by JCI Manila together with JCI Angeles City Culiat and JCI Philippines. The Philippines secured hosting rights in 2024, and the event is explicitly framed by organisers as rekindling the legacy of the 1998 JCI World Congress — the last time the country hosted the event. 2026 JCI World Conference Director Luis Angelo (LA) Sevilla has described the congress as a chance to “celebrate leadership, inspire action and solidify Pampanga’s reputation as a hub for global collaboration and innovation.”
Junior Chamber International itself operates in more than 120 countries and territories, with over 200,000 members and roughly 5,000 local chapters worldwide. The World Congress is the one moment each year the entire global network converges in a single city — and for five days in November 2026, that city is Clark.
Why Clark, Philippines?
Clark Freeport Zone, in Pampanga, is one of the Philippines’ established MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) destinations, chosen for its infrastructure and its distance from the congestion of Metro Manila. A few numbers give a sense of scale:
| Facility | Count |
|---|---|
| International airport | 1 (Clark International Airport) |
| Convention centres | 15 |
| Hotel rooms | 4,000+ |
| Dining options / World Congress partner restaurants | 160 |
| Sports facilities | 9 |
| Wellness facilities | 14 |
| Attractions | 13 |
| Shopping centres | 13 |
| Medical centres | 7 |
Getting there
Clark International Airport is the main hub for JCI WC26, with international and domestic connections. Belgian delegates typically connect via a major European or Middle Eastern hub to Manila or directly into Clark, depending on the season’s routing. Once on the ground, JCI organisers are running 30 dedicated delegate buses rotating across the main congress venues, arriving roughly every 10 minutes, with all official locations within about 15 minutes of each other.
Food, culture and after dark
Pampanga is widely regarded as the “Culinary Capital” of the Philippines, and delegates get lunch stubs usable across 160 World Congress partner restaurants — from USD 4 fast food to USD 20 fine dining. Beyond the congress halls, Clark Freeport Zone’s after-hours scene includes a coffee crawl through 40+ cafés, hotel bars, live music and a Parade Grounds picnic culture, plus city tours covering the area’s history.
More to explore
For delegates extending their stay, Clark offers four main golf courses (green fees roughly USD 30–122), horseback riding at El Kabayo, karting at Clark International Speedway, off-road cycling, trekking toward Mount Pinatubo, a tiger safari at Clark Safari & Adventure Park, and the Puning Hot Spring. Clark International Airport also connects onward to well-known Philippine destinations such as Boracay, Siargao, Cebu and Palawan, with domestic flights from roughly USD 34–55 one way — a realistic option for delegates combining the congress with a short Philippine getaway.
When and where: the key facts
JCI World Congress 2026 runs from 11 to 15 November 2026 in Clark, Pampanga, Philippines. Organisers expect more than 6,000 delegates from over 120 countries and territories — making it one of the largest annual gatherings of young leaders and entrepreneurs in the world. The congress also carries symbolic weight for the host country: the Philippines last hosted a JCI World Congress in 1998, and organisers have positioned WC26 as a deliberate return to that legacy, nearly three decades on.
What happens at JCI WC26?
JCI World Congress 2026 follows the established World Congress format that JCI runs every year, spread across several HQ hotel venues in Clark rather than a single congress centre.
General Assembly and official meetings
The General Assembly is JCI’s supreme governing body, where National Organisation representatives vote on resolutions, constitutional matters, budgets and the election of the next JCI World President. At WC26, General Assembly sessions, National Presidents Meetings and official JCI meetings are centred on Widus Resorts, alongside the JCI HQ Secretariat and World Congress Committee of Organisers (COC) Secretariat.
Opening ceremony, gala night and awards
The opening and closing ceremonies are the ceremonial heart of every JCI World Congress, featuring the parade of National Presidents and Chief Delegates in their national colours. The Gala Night — including the JCI Awards Ceremony — is set at Royce Premium Hotel.
Flagship programmes, training and competitions
Quest Plus Conference Center Clark hosts the JCI Flagship Programmes (including the public speaking and debate finals), Skills Development Sessions, National Trainers Forums, Committee Meetings and the JCI Women’s Forum. These are the hands-on leadership-development sessions JCI is best known for among its own members.
Senate activities
Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort serves as the Official Senate Hotel, hosting the Senate Headquarters, Senate Board Meetings, Senate Official Functions, the Senate Lounge and the Senate Dinner — relevant for JCI Belgium’s own senators (see our JCI Senate Belgium page).
Trade show and Global Village
Congress registration, the Trade Show, Business Matching and the JCI merchandise booth run from Clark Marriott. As with every JCI World Congress, delegates can also expect a Global Village and National Nights — the cultural centrepiece where each country runs a national booth and an evening event showcasing its food, drink, music and traditions. It’s traditionally the moment JCI Belgium delegates fly the Belgian flag among 120+ other national delegations.
Official hotels for JCI WC26
Unlike a single-venue conference, JCI WC26 activities are deliberately spread across multiple hotels in Clark. Organisers group these into HQ hotels (where the official programme takes place) and Official hotels (non-HQ properties on the official JCI loop, with shuttle transport included). All rates below are per room per night, inclusive of daily buffet breakfast, quoted for the 11–16 November 2026 stay window.
| Hotel | Category | Rate range (USD/night) |
|---|---|---|
| Best Western Clark | Official (3-star) | 110–200 |
| Royce Hotel & Casino | HQ (4-star) | 100–590 |

JCI Belgium and the World Congress: a long history
JCI Belgium is one of the oldest affiliated JCI members on the European continent, with roots dating to 1936, and has hosted the World Congress itself three times — most recently in Brussels in 2011, when 4,550 participants from 101 national organisations gathered in the capital. That tradition of Belgian participation continues at JCI World Congress 2026 in Clark, and will carry on to JCI World Congress 2027 in Nagoya, Japan the following year.
