JCI Francoformation 2027: a French leadership weekend in Luxembourg
JCI Francoformation 2027 is the 30th edition of the Francoformation, the annual francophone training weekend of Junior Chamber International (JCI). From 2 to 4 April 2027, JCI Luxembourg welcomes close to 200 Jaycees to Luxembourg City for leadership training, networking and cultural exchange, under the theme “Entre héritage et horizon” (between heritage and horizon). For JCI Belgium members, it is a rare chance to train alongside young entrepreneurs from every French-speaking JCI country, without the scale, or the price tag, of a European Conference or World Congress.
What is Francoformation 2027?
The Francoformation is organised every year by one of the francophone JCI partner countries in turn: Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Morocco, Monaco, Switzerland and Tunisia. This 2027 edition is hosted by JCI Luxembourg and marks 30 years since the concept was created. JCI Francoformation 2027 is a distinct event from Francoformation 2026, which was held in Nantes, France, so the two editions should not be confused when Belgian delegations plan their travel.

Programme
Accommodation, meals, trainings and evening events are all included in the price, so delegates arrive on Friday evening and leave on Sunday afternoon with everything organised. The weekend centres on leadership trainings led by members of the JCI network, aimed at young entrepreneurs who want practical skills for their chapter, business or community project. Two evening events, including the traditional Francoformation Gala, provide the informal networking that often leads to twinning ideas or cross-border projects. A guided tour introduces delegates to Luxembourg, a country built on innovation, entrepreneurship and European openness, and for many it will be their first visit to the Grand Duchy.
Why attend
Francoformation 2027 is built for JCI members aged 18 to 40 who want an international experience without a long-haul flight. Delegates train alongside francophone counterparts from six other countries and build a network well beyond their own local chapter. For a JCI Belgium delegation, it is also a chance to represent Belgium’s francophone chapters on an international stage, at a fraction of the cost of a European Conference or World Congress. It is also a useful stepping stone for members considering a first international JCI trip, since the francophone setting and the smaller, weekend-sized format make it easier to prepare for than a full-scale conference.
