JCI Kids Camp 2026: international adventure for children (9 to 15 years old)
JCI Kids Camp is an international summer camp run by JCI (Junior Chamber International) for children and teens aged 9 to 15. The 2026 edition runs from 23 to 26 July in Großkayna, Germany, under the theme “Future Skills.”
Participants build international friendships, develop future-oriented skills and discover other cultures in a safe, supervised setting.
In short: a four-day, supervised international camp split into a Kids Camp (ages 9-12) and a Youth Camp (ages 13-15), running simultaneously at one location.
What is the JCI Kids Camp?
Since its first edition in 2023 in Saarbrücken, the camp has grown into an annual event run by JCI Germany under the name JCI KidsCamp Europe – part of JCI’s broader mission to prepare young people for leadership and active citizenship.

Both groups attend the same evening parties and closing session, but follow separate daytime programmes.
Dates, location and cost
The camp runs Thursday 23 July to Sunday 26 July at the Sport- & Zirkuskirche Geiseltal in Großkayna (Halle-Leipzig region), near a train station and airport.
The fee is 199 euros for registrations before 23 June 2026 (early bird), rising to 249 euros after – accommodation, meals and the full programme included.

The programme: 4 steps across 4 days
- Arrival and welcome (Day 1). Afternoon arrival, group introductions, welcome evening. Parents welcome at the start.
- Future-skills workshops (Day 2). Group activities and workshops on the annual theme.
- Day trip and cultural exchange (Day 3). Participants present their home country, followed by an international party.
- Presentations and farewell (Day 4). Closing presentations and farewell; parents welcome again. Departure after lunch.
Participants stay in shared rooms of 3 to 5 beds, with a common room and full catering.

What is the difference between the Kids Camp and the Youth Camp?
The Kids Camp is for children aged 9 to 12 and focuses on playful, discovery-based activities. The Youth Camp targets teens aged 13 to 15 and places more emphasis on personal development, leadership and project work. Both groups stay at the same location and share joint activities.
Does my child need to already be a JCI member to take part in the JCI Kids Camp?
No. The JCI Kids Camp is open to children of JCI members, but also to friends of Jaycees. Membership is not a requirement for participation.
What language is spoken during the JCI Kids Camp?
The working language is English. At least one year of English at school is recommended as a guideline, so children can follow the activities comfortably.
Is parental supervision required at the JCI Kids Camp?
No, supervision is not required. Parents are welcome to join on arrival day and at the closing farewell session on the last day.
