What is Bobbejaanland?

Bobbejaanland is a Belgian amusement park located in Lichtaart, in the Kempen region, with more than 40 attractions spread across several themed areas. The park was founded by singer and entertainer Bobbejaan Schoepen, who turned his dream into reality in 1961 on what was once marshland. Today, Bobbejaanland is one of the largest amusement parks in Belgium and draws visitors from both home and abroad every year.

The park is built around seven themed zones, including Land of Legends, Adventure Valley, Desperado City, Kinderland, Mystery Bay, Wondergarden and Bobbejaan Schoepenplein. Well-known attractions include the roller coasters Fury, Revolution and Typhoon, alongside water rides such as the Wild Water Slide. The park also hosts shows and events throughout the year, ranging from K-pop battles to extensive Halloween events in autumn.
