The JCI Regatta has been in existence since 2011 when the competition was organised for the first time. Over the years we have grown in the number of participants and JCI Regatta enthusiast. A true family has formed and is expanding each year!
Within the JCI Regatta we combine a fair but challenging sailing competition with fun social activities to really bring out the JCI spirit. With this combination we provide development opportunities for participants to create positive change for both the world as a whole and their local communities. Each year, together with all participants, we raise a large amount of money for several charities. Over the years we have donated more than $200.000,- to several local charities and the United To Beat Malaria foundation of the United Nations, previously known as Nothing but Nets.
JCI Regatta, a Dutch initiative, is appreciated all over the world and has become an official JCI event.
Financial Details
The cost for JCI Regatta 2026 are approximately 1095 euros per person on a 8 person boat. If you have less than 8 persons, this price will be slightly higher. What is included, and what not, can be found further on this page.
Due dates & payment conditions
Registrations are OPEN! At registration we expect you to pay 50% of the fee within 2 weeks of receiving the invoice. After that we have two dates to complete the payment, see the schedule below. If you want to pay the fee in full at once this is also possible, of course! After registration you accept the terms and conditions.

Extended stay, per team
At the moment the organisation has no information on a possible extended stay yet. When we have more information on this we will publish information here.
The extended stay normally includes accommodation on the yacht only.
What’s included
This ‘all inclusive’ registration includes:
- Contribution to charity;
- Accommodation on board;
- Food and drinks (alcohol to a limited amount) during the organized events;
- JCI Regatta registration fee;
- Sailing federation fee;
- All-risk insurance for the boat;
- Technical support during the Regatta;
- Cleaning after the rental period;
- Towel and bed linen 1 p/p;
- Tourist taxes
It does not include:
- Transport to Croatia and airport transfer to Marina;
- Food and drinks outside events & personal preference;
- Hire of professional captain, in case no one has a required license;
- Safety deposit of € 2.500,- till € 4.000,-per yacht (depending on yacht size), to be paid by credit card
- Extra rental costs for additional sailing days (extended stay);
- Fuel (approx. 15 liters of diesel depending on the weather conditions);
- Travel- and cancellation insurance;
- Extra towels
