The JCI National Convention 2027 (NCN 2027) is JCI Belgium’s annual national convention, taking place from 24 to 26 September 2027 in Virton, in the Gaume region of Belgium’s province of Luxembourg. Organised by JCI Gaume under the theme “Douceur de Vivre” – the sweetness of slowing down – NCN 2027 swaps the usual packed conference schedule for three days built around rest, connection and local discovery.
NCN is JCI Belgium’s own national congress, separate from the similarly named National Convention events run by JCI Nederland and JCI France — more on that below.
NCN 2027’s theme: ‘Douceur de Vivre’
What if you took the time to fully experience your next convention, instead of rushing through it? That’s the idea behind “Douceur de Vivre.” The weekend is built around six things members can expect to find in Virton:

Host chapter: JCI Gaume
JCI Gaume is a local chapter of JCI Belgium Wallonie Bruxelles, based in Virton — the unofficial capital of Gaume, a region in Belgium’s province of Luxembourg often nicknamed “Belgium’s little Provence” for its warmer microclimate and character villages. Taking on the JCI National Convention is one of the biggest undertakings a local chapter can volunteer for, and puts a smaller, rural chapter on the same national stage as Brussels, Antwerp or Ghent.

JCI National Convention 2027 runs across two days, centred at the Collège Notre-Dame du Bonlieu in Virton, with the after-party held separately at Le Zytho:
Friday
The weekend opens with the Get Acquainted Party (GAP) at the Collège Notre-Dame du Bonlieu.
Saturday
Breakfast, trainings and the gala dinner all take place at the Collège Notre-Dame du Bonlieu, with the after-party continuing afterwards at Le Zytho.
Sunday
The weekend closes with brunch back at the Collège Notre-Dame du Bonlieu.

Who attends?
NCN brings together members from JCI Belgium’s roughly 40 local chapters, JCI senators and JCI Belgium Foundation supporters. It’s also open to guests: for young entrepreneurs and young professionals aged 18 to 40 curious about JCI but not yet members, it’s one of the easiest ways to experience the community in a single weekend.
