Official launch of JCI Deinze-Latem: a new chapter for young leaders in East Flanders
On 30 May 2026, JCI Belgium officially celebrates the founding of its newest local chapter: JCI Deinze-Latem. This milestone marks the beginning of an exciting new community for ambitious young professionals in the Deinze and Sint-Martens-Latem region and you’re invited to be part of it from the very first day.
An evening to remember
The founding celebration takes place at the iconic Auberge du Pêcheur, located at Pontstraat 41 in Sint-Martens-Latem, one of the most beautiful event venues in the Leie region, surrounded by nature and the rich artistic heritage that defines this corner of East Flanders.
Doors open at 6:30 PM for a warm welcome reception and aperitif. Guests can then enjoy a festive dinner, live entertainment, and a party running well into the night. For those who want to make a full evening of it, overnight accommodation is available on-site at €150 per double room.
Early bird tickets are priced at €145 with all drinks included until midnight. It’s a complete evening out and a celebration that perfectly captures the spirit of everything JCI Deinze-Latem stands for.
Why JCI Deinze-Latem?
JCI Deinze-Latem is a local chapter of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Belgium, a global movement that empowers young leaders between the ages of 18 and 40 to develop their skills and drive meaningful change both in their own community and on an international stage.
The chapter is built around four core pillars. Through community engagement, members contribute to local projects that make a genuine difference in the region. Through internationalism, they connect with a worldwide JCI network active in more than 100 countries.
Through training and workshops – from leadership to communication – members grow both personally and professionally. And through a strong business focus, JCI Deinze-Latem helps build a local ecosystem where entrepreneurs and professionals support each other in a meaningful way.
What sets JCI apart from a traditional business club or service organisation is the combination of all four of these dimensions under one roof. The chapter has something to offer every young leader who is serious about growing.
Why this matters for East Flanders
The founding of JCI Deinze-Latem is more than a festive evening, it represents a long-term commitment to the region. Deinze and Sint-Martens-Latem have a strong tradition of community spirit and local entrepreneurship, and a new JCI chapter provides an internationally connected platform where the next generation of young leaders can develop their potential close to home.
JCI Belgium continues to grow its network of local chapters across Flanders. With the arrival of JCI Deinze-Latem, the movement significantly strengthens its footprint in East Flanders and brings its proven model of leadership development to a region that is ready for it.
